Who can Apply?

• A person who is at least 18 years of age on 1 January in the year of enrolment.
• Special provision exist for adults returning to study*.
• A person who is at least 17 years of age on 1 January in the year of enrolment can also apply for Year 11 studies.

* ADULTS returning to Study: those who are 18 years of age on 1 January in the year of enrolment and have been out of schooling for at least a year. These adults returning to study VCE need to complete a minimum of four subjects at year 12 (Units 3 & 4) level including English.

All others need to do Units 1, 2, 3 & 4.

Interstate and overseas students may also apply for enrolment.

• Your application is an expression of interest to do VCE. It does not necessarily gurantee you a place in the course.
• Admission is based on the assessment results and/or your previous academic results.
• Assessments are carried out during enrolment sessions.

Applications close in November in the year prior to study.
